JE SUIS CAPABLE is a website dedicated to children aged 3 to 10 and living with fears and behavioral problems. It offers a Solution Focused approach through a variety of tools available in and outside Canada. These fun and effective tools help transform children's problems into skills. And this positive and avant-gardist approach can be used by daycare workers, teachers, child specialists and also parents.

  •  September 20, 2010 : NEW ! A personalized KIDS’ SKILLS training session will be available on SKYPE next fall for all those interested by this method and a tool of their choice. See Training

  •  July 1st, 2010 : Dr Ben Furman’s latest book - KIDS’ SKILLS in Action, stories of playful and practical solution-finding with children. In it, you’ll find Jocelyne and other professionals, across the world, sharing their own experiences with the KIDS’ SKILLS method.

  •  March 27, 2010 : KIDS’ SKILLS for Parents. A parenting programme aimed at parents and other childcare workers is now available through this site.

  •  February 28, 2010 : A second School Board in Ontario (Canada) has decided to adopt the KIDS’ SKILLS method and tools following a "successful experimentation involving children with behaviour problems".

  •  January 27, 2010 : A large number of KIDS’ SKILLS place mats sold to an important agency in Australia.

  •  September 1, 2009 : Article - "Solution Focused working with young children" by Jocelyne Pouliot. Solution News is a bulletin made freely available by the United Kindgom Association for Solution Focused Practice. They have a readership spanning more than 60 countries.

  •  August 25, 2009 : The GOOD MANNERS poster for children aged 3 +. Teaching manners to young children gives them essential tools to function and succeed in society. Here is a fun and easy way for a child to learn 10 basic manners.

  •   August 17, 2009 : The STARPOWER poster, a new Solution Focused tool designed for children aged 4 +. This very simple tool - based on 5 easy steps - can be used by daycare workers, teachers, child specialists and also parents. It is fun, flexible and most effective.

  •  July 7, 2009 : Article - "KIDS SKILLS great resource" by Eileen Murphy Consultants (UK) : "I have been reviewing the KIDS’ SKILLS place mat as a resource for working with young children and just love it. It’s a great tool which allows for using Solution Focused language and approach with a very young age group." (Read Eileen’s Blog)

  •  March 2009 : Editor’s work for Dr Ben Furman from Finland. A new tool has been designed for FAMILIES with children aged 4 +. MY KIDS’ SKILLS workbook will eventually be available in other languages.

  •  March 2-3, 2007 : Presentation of the JE SUIS CAPABLE method to students in Education at a UQAR symposium, Université du Québec à Rimouski, Québec

  •  February 11, 2007 : Jocelyne spent a day with Dr Ben Furman and other French trainers, ambassadors and some users of his KIDS’ SKILLS or JE SUIS CAPABLE method, in Montréal

  •  August 17, 2006 : Design of the first JE SUIS CAPABLE place mat (treasure chest) by Jocelyne Pouliot, in Rimouski. It was done with Dr Ben Furman’s permission and in collaboration with the Helsinki Brief Therapy Institute, Finland
